Latest from Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum

My son sent me this picture today on my first day of practicing cardiology by telemedicine, and what is the new normal, for now.

He said, “There is a light at the end of this rainbow and currently it is in New Jersey…”

As we’ve been in NJ with my family, and I headed back to NYC to make sure I can do all I can to care for my patients through telemedicine, he reminded me that our happiness needs to be exactly where we are, no matter what or where it is.

To my patients: thank you for being on this journey together. We will get through this and see each other soon. I am here for you!

To my son: Never forget to look for the light at the end of the rainbow. If you look for it, you will find it, and you will always find a glimmer of happiness and hope. If you never lose hope, you will never give in.
