I never show pictures of food I’ve made or beautiful dishes I’ve created. The truth—I am the worst cook and honestly, I don’t even like it. I have already confessed this truth in my book. But, now that things are a little different… to say the least… I miss having my favorites at some of my favorite restaurants. So I tried it on my own—toasted multigrain bread with mashed avocado, arugula, tomato and 4 capers with a tiny bit of smoked salmon in there, topped with a little dill and pepper.
And, it was SO yummy! I DID IT!!
Turns out if I take some time to learn, I might be able to PREPARE some things that are healthy and taste good. Who knows, I might even learn how to cook!
